Neurology
Our Neurology Specialty Delivery Group (SDG) includes nominated representation from all NHS Boards providing Neurology Services in Scotland. Boards are asked to nominate representatives to cover Clinical Leadership (e.g. a Consultant), Management, Nursing and Allied Health Professions.
The group has strong links with the National Advisory Committee for Neurological Conditions and includes third sector representation.
Processes
We have made considerable progress implementing Active Clinical Referral Triage (ACRT) pathways and Discharge Patient Initiated Review (PIR).
We are launching the following range of factsheets to support ACRT implementation for use in Health Boards.
In support of Discharge PIR, sample Standard Operating Procedures and patient leaflets are available on request. Please contact gjnh.cfsdmpppsac@nhs.scot for more details.
