General Surgery
Our General Surgery Specialty Delivery Group includes nominated representation from all Health Boards providing General Surgery Services in Scotland.
Boards are asked to nominate representatives to cover Clinical Leadership (e.g. a Consultant), and Management.
Processes
We have made considerable progress implementing Active Clinical Referral Triage (ACRT) pathways and this remains a focus for 2023/24.
Pathways
The group is currently developing a number of pathways, including Biliary Disease and Emergency Laparoscopic and Laparotomy Scottish Audit (ELLSA).
