Dermatology Pathways
The Dermatology Specialty Delivery Group has collaborated with the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), the Scottish Dermatology Society (SDS) and Right Decision Service to develop a sustainable resource providing information on 18 of the most common skin conditions.
The resource includes information about management in primary care and circumstances that would trigger referral to secondary care. This resource replaces the previous ‘Dermatology Pathways’ website and app.
Accessing the Resource
The Dermatology resources are delivered through the Right Decision Service – the national decision support service for Scotland’s health and social care, funded by Scottish Government and hosted by Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
The Right Decision Service's mission is to provide a ‘Once for Scotland’ source of digital tools that enable health and care staff and citizens to make safe decisions quickly ‘on the go,’ based on validated evidence.
Healthcare staff can access the pathways via the web or as a mobile app.
