The CfSD Cancer Improvement and Earlier Diagnosis Team supports the ongoing delivery of the Endoscopy and Urology Diagnostic Recovery and Renewal Plan (2021).

Working in collaboration with Boards, the Earlier Cancer Diagnosis team ensure various actions, across the following 5 key areas, are fully implemented:

  • Balancing demand and capacity
  • Optimising clinical pathways
  • Improving quality and efficiency
  • Workforce training and development
  • Infrastructure, innovation and redesign
