Patient satisfaction 

The National Elective Coordination Unit has supported the validation of over 88,000 patients, identifying over 9% of patients no longer requiring their appointment/procedure.

Through a digitally supported once for Scotland approach, this work has allowed for more than 485 outpatient clinics and 341 operating days being released back to NHS Boards. 

Through NECU's digitally supported, patient-centred approach to capacity campaigns, 98 per cent of patients have rated their experience of NECU and NECU-supported treatment campaigns to be good to excellent.
